Lufthansa flight LH-178 had to return and make an emergency landing in Frankfurt, Germany, on May 30th.
The Airbus A321-200 plane took off for Berlin, Germany, but had to return shortly afterwards after it developed an engine problem.
The plane landed uneventfully. All 198 passengers aboard remained unhurt.
SBA Airlines flight S3-1515 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Las Americas International Airport, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, on March 11.
The Boeing 757-200, heading from Caracas, Venezuela to Miami, Florida, was mid-air when the crew needed to shut down its right hand engine, causing the plane to divert.
The plane landed safely.
All 198 passengers and crew members aboard remained unhurt.
