Skymark Airlines Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Japan due to Smoke in Portable Charger
Skymark Airlines flight 732 had to return and make an emergency landing at New Chitose Airport, Hakkaido, Japan, on August 22nd.
The aircraft en-route to Haneda, Japan, was mid-air when a passenger’s portable battery charger exploded and started emitting smoke.
The plane landed uneventfully.
All 170 passengers onboard remained unharmed.
