Pilot Texts Family Before Fatal Crash in Missouri
A Piper PA-32 plane crashed near Cuba Municipal airport in Missouri, on June 14.
The plane crashed in a wooded area when the pilot Jeffrey B. Hansen of St. Charles was en-route to Creve Coeur Airport, St. Louis, with his dog. Both of them were killed in the crash.
According to Missouri authorities, the pilot texted his family, about 5 minutes before crash, that his plane had hit turbulence.
