Mistral Air Plane Returns to Italy due to Engine Shut Down
Mistral Air flight AZ-1822 had to return and make an emergency landing at Trapani, Italy, on April 9.
The Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-212A, en-route to Pantelleria, Italy, had to return due to an engine problem. The crew had to shut-down the engine mid-air.
The plane landed safely.
All 33 people aboard remained safe.
