Emirates Flight Attendant Dies After Falling Out of Plane In Uganda

A flight attendant fell out of an Emirates plane at Entebbe International Airport, Uganda, on March 14th.

The incident happened when the Boeing 777-300 plane was preparing to perform flight EK-730 to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The flight attendant suffered serious injuries. She was taken to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

U.S. Coast Guard Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing in Golden Gate Park

A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter made an emergency landing in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, California, on February 22nd.

According to a spokesperson, the crew decided to land in the park after a maintenance light come on. They were returning from a search-and-rescue operation at the time.

No injuries were reported.

Small Plane Crashes in Los Angeles County; Four Killed

A small plane crashed in Los Angeles County, California, on February 11th.

The plane was carrying a family of four when it went down in the Agua Dulce area.

All four occupants were killed in the crash.

A family member identified them as the pilot Thomas Hastings, 65, his daughter Amber Hill, 27, her husband, Jacob Hill, 25, and her daughter, Madison Hastings Saxelby, 9.

The cause of crash is being investigated.

Helicopter Crashes in Grand Canyon; 3 Dead, 4 Injured

A sight-seeing helicopter crashed in the Grand Canyon, Arizona, on February 10th.

The helicopter, operated by Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopters, was carrying six passengers and a pilot when it crashed near Quartermaster Canyon on the Hualapai Nation.

Three people were killed in the crash. Four others sustained serious injuries and were airlifted to a hospital.

2 People, Dog Killed in Small Plane Crash in California

A small plane crashed in Santee, San Diego County, California, on February 6th.

The Cessna 182 Skylane plane, carrying two people and a pair of dogs, went down shortly after taking off from the Gillespie Field Airport.

Both people and one of the dogs aboard the plane were killed in the crash.

Authorities found the wreckage in an industrial area adjacent to Gillespie Field Airport.

Two French army training helicopters collided in mid-air between the towns of Cabasse and Carces in southern France, on February 2nd.

According to the police, “The helicopters collided. There were three army personnel in one and two in the other. All are dead.”

Pilot Killed after Small Plane Crashes in California

A Cessna 152 plane crashed in Concord, California, on January 29th.

The incident happened shortly after the plane took off from Buchanan Field Airport.

The pilot, who was the only one aboard, was killed in the crash. He was identified as Christopher Rampoldt, 69, of Martinez.

A Colombian army helicopter crashed in Antioquia, Colombia, on January 16th.

The Russian-made MI-17 helicopter was carrying ten people when it went down near the town of Segovia.

Couple from Kansas Dies in Missouri Plane Crash

A small plane crashed in a field near Branson West Airport, Missouri, on December 17th.

The Incident happened when the Piper Cherokee plane was carrying two people.

Both occupants of the plane were killed in the crash. They were identified as the pilot Keith M. Curtis, 52, and Dawn Curtis, 45, both from of Gardner, Kansas.

3 Presumed Dead After Small Plane Crashes in Florida

A small plane crashed into Lake Harney in Florida, on December 8th.

The twin-engine Beechcraft plane was on its way to Orlando Sanford International Airport when it went down.

There were three people aboard the plane, including the pilot Kamalesh Naik, 56, and the passengers Men Tao, 22, and Hou Xupeng, 23. All of them are presumed dead.

American Airlines First Officer Dies During Landing in Albuquerque

American Airlines flight AA-1353 made an emergency landing in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on March 29th.

The Boeing 737-800 plane flying from Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas, was on final approach when the captain declared a medical emergency saying, “We’ve got an issue with one of the pilots.”

The plane continued for a safe landing. Emergency services performed CPR on the first officer, however, could not save his life.

The deceased first officer was identified as William “Mike” Grubbs, 58.

Four Killed After Small Plane Crashed in Blount County, Alabama

A Cessna 210 plane crashed in Hayden, Blount County, Alabama, on March 25th.

Authorities said the plane was heading from Kissimmee, Florida, to Jackson, Tennessee, when it went down.

Four people were killed in the crash, including a 45-year-old man, a 43-year-old woman,
a 16-year-old boy, and a 14-year-old girl. They are believed to be family members.

ExpressJet Flight Diverts to Louisiana After Hydraulic Failure

ExpressJet flight EV-4114 had to divert for an emergency landing in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on February 22nd.

The plane flying from Houston, Texas, to Charleston, South Carolina, was diverted due to a hydraulic failure.

The plane landed uneventfully.

UTairThe Boeing 737-800 (Pegasus Airlines) en-route from Turkey to Russia, was about to land maintaining FL-120 route, however, it descended to FL-110. The Boeing 737-500 (UTAir) was about to take-off from FL-110 for Grozny, Russia, at the time.

Both aircrafts landed safely at their destinations.
