Danish Air Transport Flight Diverts to Slovakia After Hydraulic Failure

Danish Air Transport flight DX-349 made an emergency landing in Bratislava, Slovakia, on May 21st. The Airbus A320-200 plane heading from Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt, to Billund, Denmark, was diverted due to a hydraulic failure. The plane landed safely. Silk Way Airlines flight ZP-4953 made an emergency landing in Bratislava, Slovakia, on April 4th. The plane was climbing out of Bratislava when the crew reported a bird strike and decided to return. SmartWings flight 6H-734 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Kosice, Slovakia, on May 29th. The Boeing 737-800 plane heading from Warsaw, Poland, to Tel Aviv, Israel, was diverted after it lost cabin pressure. The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed. Two L-410 turbo-prop aircrafts collided mid-air near Cerveny Kamen village of western Slovakia, on August 20th. The accident happened when the planes were carrying 34 parachutists who were rehearsing for an air show in Slavnica. Seven people, including 3 parachutists and 4 pilots, were killed in the crash while 31 parachutists managed to survive... »

On March 3, 2013, at 17:13 Eurocopter EC-120 Colibri crashed in Horný ?epe?, Sere? district in Slovakia after hitting a cable that was stretched between trees. The helicopter landed in the Váh river. Three wounded individuals were transported to University Hospital in Trnava where they were treated for hypothermia, head injuries, lacerations and abrasions.... »
