Delta Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing due to Hydraulic Leak

Delta Airlines flight DL-181 made an emergency landing in Manila, Philippines, on July 18th.

The Boeing 767-300 plane flying from Narita International Airport, Japan, was descending toward Manila when the crew noticed a hydraulic leak.

The plane landed safely and was towed to the apron. All one hundred and twenty passengers and nine crew members remained unharmed.

Plane Crash in Philippines Leaves 10 Dead

A small plane crashed into a house in Plaridel, Bulacan, Philippines, on March 17th.

The incident happened shortly after the plane, carrying five people, departed from Plaridel Airport.

Ten people were killed in the crash, including all five occupants of the plane and five people on the ground.

The incident is being investigated.

AirAsia Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Philippines

AirAsia ZestAirAsia Flight Z2 763 had to make an emergency landing at Mactan-Cebu International Airport, Cebu, Philippines, on December 15.

It s believed that the pilots of the plane, flying from Manila, declared emergency due to a hydraulic problem in its landing gear.

According to Philippines Air Asia, “The plane had technical issue on its way to the ramp and had to be towed. Safety and engineering teams are currently checking the cause.”

There were 166 passengers aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.

Royal Brunei Airlines Plane Returns to Manila after Engine Failure

2 Pilots Killed as Philippine Air Force Jet Crashes During Training

A Philippine Air Force jet crashed in Batangas province of the Philippines, at around 9:40 a.m. on January 31.

According to the Air force spokesman Lt. Col. Enrico Canaya, the single-prop SF-260FH went down off Nasugbo township during a formation training flight.

Both pilots aboard the Italian-made plane were killed in the crash. They were later identified as 1st Lt. Nazer Jana and Capt. John Bayao.

The cause of crash is being investigated.
