Tara Air Plane Suffers Runway Excursion at Jumla Airport

A Tara Air plane suffered a puncture of the nose wheels upon landing at Jumla Airport, Nepal, on June 9th. The plane coming from Nepalgunj, Nepal, became uncontrollable due to the puncture, veered off the runway and hit a fence. All eighteen passengers and three crew members remained uninjured. Batik Air Plane Rejects Takeoff From Kathmandu

Batik Air flight OD-181 had to reject takeoff from Kathmandu, Nepal, on April 19th. The Boeing 737-900 plane was commencing takeoff for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, when the crew rejected takeoff at high speed due to a configuration warning. Sita Air flight 603 made an emergency landing in Kathmandu, Nepal, on February 20th. The plane took off for Lukla, Nepal, but had to turn back after the crew needed to shut down one of the engines.
