Royal Jordanian Airlines Plane Overruns Runway in Aqaba, Jordan

Royal Jordanian Airlines flight RJ-6888 overran the end of the runway during landing at King Hussein International Airport, Aqaba, Jordan, on September 17th. The incident happened when the Boeing 737-300 plane was coming from Amman, Jordan. All one hundred and twenty-six people aboard remained unharmed. The plane sustained minor damage. Solitaire Air flight FJR-200 had to return and make an emergency landing in Amman, Jordan, on July 15th. The plane took off for Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew reported a leaking door. The plane landed uneventfully. Everyone aboard remained safe. A Jordan military’s propeller plane crashed in a pilot training area of Jordan, on April 6. According to Army spokesman Col.
