Royal Jordanian Airlines Plane Veers Off Runway in Iraq

Royal Jordanian Airlines flight RJ-800 veered off runway at Sulaimaniyah International Airport, Iraq, on March 4th. The incident happened when the Embraer ERJ-175 plane was coming from Amman, Jordan. A US passenger plane crash-landed in a field near Erbil in Kurdistan, Iraq, on March 5th. Authorities said the plane was forced to land in the field due to technical failure. There were four passengers aboard at the time; none of them were harmed. Around 30 US soldiers responded and sealed off the scene.... »
