Finnair Flight Evacuated due to Smoke in Cockpit

Finnair flight AY-1031 was evacuated at Tallinn Airport, Estonia, on January 30th.

The plane coming from Helsinki, Finland, had just landed at Tallinn Airport when the crew declared an emergency due to smoke in the cockpit.

All passengers were safely evacuated.

Nordica Flight Rejects Takeoff due to Smoke Detector Warning

Nordica flight LO-8179 had to reject takeoff from Tallinn Airport, Estonia, on June 5th.

The plane was accelerating to takeoff for Amsterdam, Netherlands, when the crew received a smoke detector warning and rejected takeoff.

The plane stopped safely.

The passengers were evacuated onto the runway.

Nordica Airlines Flight Returns to Estonia Due to Fluctuations in Engine Oil Pressure

Nordica Airlines flight LO-8177 had to return for an emergency landing in Tallinn, Estonia, on January 3rd.

The plane took off for Brussels, Belgium, but had to turn back due to fluctuations in engine oil pressure.

The plane landed back safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

ULS Airlines Gets Stuck in Estonia

On Feb 8, 2013, a ULS Airlines Cargo Airbus A300B4-2C made a safe landing at Tallinn Airport in Estonia, and then got mired in soft ground while navigating the tarmac.

The plane was carrying 40 tons of cargo and had to be unloaded to be dragged onto the hard pavement.

Air traffic was suspended till 2:35 pm. Weather conditions were reported as not being behind the cause of the incident.
