Small Plane Crashes in Switzerland; 3 Killed

A small plane crashed in the Canton of Valais in Switzerland, on August 20th. Authorities said the plane was carrying three people when it went down near the Sanetsch Pass. All three occupants of the plane were killed in the crash. The accident is being investigated. Download article as PDF »

Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Flagler Beach, Florida

A small plane had to make an emergency landing in Flagler Beach, Florida, on August 20th. The 1968 Mooney plane caught fire after landing on the State Road 100 bridge. There were two people aboard at the time; both of them remained uninjured. The FAA is investigating. Download article as PDF »

Pilot Killed After Small Plane Crashed in Jefferson County, OR

A small plane crashed near Madras Municipal Airport in Jefferson County, Oregon, on August 19th. The plane was approaching the airport when it crashed and caught fire. Small Planet Airlines flight P7-8730 had to reject takeoff from Corfu, Greece, on August 19th. The Airbus A321-200 plane was accelerating to takeoff for Warsaw, Poland, when the crew rejected takeoff due to a damaged tire. The plane safely returned to the apron.
