American Airlines flight AA-5474 had to return and make an emergency landing in Charlotte, North Carolina, on October 4th. The Canadair CRJ-900 plane took off for Savannah, Georgia, but had to return shortly afterwards due to a nose gear steering problem. The plane landed back safely.
