Xtra Airways Plane Returns to Rochester

xtraXtra Airways flight XP-6801 had to return and make an emergency landing at Greater Rochester International Airport in Rochester, New York, on October 14.

The Boeing 737-400, heading to Atlantic City, New Jersey, had to turn back after the crew noticed crack in its windshield.

There were over 130 passengers on-board; all of them remained safe.

The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.

What: Xtra Airways jet en route from from Alexandria, Louisiana to Mexico diverted to make an emergency landing
Where: Bush Intercontinental Airport
When: Thursday Morning
Who: 129 immigration prisoners
Why: When a fire was detected on board, the plane was diverted to Bush Intercontinental Airport. THe plane landed safely. There were no injuries.
