Xiamen Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Lhasa

Xiamen Airlines flight MF-8411 made an emergency landing in Lhasa, China, on October 25th.

The Boeing 737-700 plane flying from Chongqing, China, was descending toward Lhasa when the crew reported an issue with the flaps and aborted the approach.

The plane subsequently landed at a higher than normal speed. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

Flight Attendant Falls Out of Plane at Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport

A flight attendant fell out of a XiamenAir plane at Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport, China, on November 10th.

The incident happened shortly after the flight MF-8253 from Fuzhou landed in Zhengzhou.

The flight attendant suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital.

Xiamen Airlines Plane Makes Emergency Landing in China

Xiamen Airlines flight MF-8106 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Nanchang, China, on February 17.

The Boeing 787-800 was heading from Beijing to Xiamen, China, when an oil indication prompted the crew to to shut down the right hand engine and divert for an emergency landing.

The plane landed safely. No injuries were reported.

Chinese Passenger Pulls Open Emergency Exit for ‘Fresh Air’

Xiamen airlinesA passenger aboard Xiamen Airlines Flight MF8453 opened the emergency exit door, just when the plane was preparing to take off from Hangzhou in Zhejiang province of China, on December 21.

The Chengdu-bound plane was just about to move to the runway when the man pulled open the door, hoping to get ‘some fresh air’. The flight crew immediately closed the door, instructed him not to touch anything and moved him to a seat farther from the emergency exit. The flight departed as per the schedule.

The man was not punished. The authorities said the 50-year-old man did not mean any harm; he was a first time air-traveler and mistook the exit door for a window.
