UPS Flight Makes Emergency Landing at Shannon Airport

UPS flight 5X-203 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Shannon Airport, Ireland, on August 4th. The plane heading from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Cologne, Germany, was diverted after the crew noticed smoke on board. The plane landed uneventfully. Air Cargo Carriers flight 2Q-1260 crashed into the trees left to the runway of Yeager Airport, Charleston, West Virginia, on May 5th. The Short SD-330 flying on behalf of UPS went down the hill after hitting the trees. All 2 crew members aboard lost their lives in the crash. The incident is under investigation.... »
