Air Cargo Carriers Plane Crashes in West Virginia; 2 Killed

Air Cargo Carriers flight 2Q-1260 crashed into the trees left to the runway of Yeager Airport, Charleston, West Virginia, on May 5th. The Short SD-330 flying on behalf of UPS went down the hill after hitting the trees. All 2 crew members aboard lost their lives in the crash. The incident is under investigation.... »

UPS flight 5X-104 had to divert for an emergency landing at New Chitose Airport in Hokkaido, Japan, on March 8th. The Boeing 767-300 plane heading from Anchorage, Alaska, to Osaka, Japan, was diverted after the crew needed to shut down one of the engines. The plane landed uneventfully.
