The SCAT-owned Canadian-built Bombardier Challenger CRJ-200 # UP-CJ006 crashed in Kyzyl Tu village five miles from its Almaty airport destination. On Jan 29, 2013, A SCAT-owned Canadian-built Bombardier Challenger CRJ-200 # UP-CJ006 en route from Kokshetau Kazakhstan to Almaty crashed in Kyzyl Tu village five miles from the Almaty airport.
