Myanmar National Airlines Flight Hit by Pigeons in Heho

Myanmar National Airlines flight UB-414 was hit by several pigeons at Heho Airport in Myanmar, on May 25th. The plane was accelerating to take off for Yangon, Myanmar, when its left engine ingested several pigeons. The pilots continued to take off and landed back safely. All 75 people aboard remained safe. A Myanmar Airways Xian MA60 en route from Yangon to Heho to Mong Hsat Airport sustained damage on landing. The damage was incurred on the single Mong Hsat runway which the plane overran and stopped mired in soft ground. Fifty-five passengers were aboard, of whom two were injured.
