Icelandair Flight Diverts to Boston due to Smell of Rubber in Aft Cabin

Icelandair flight FI-828 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Boston, Massachusetts, on May 30th. The Boeing 757-200 plane heading from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Keflavik, Iceland, was diverted after a strong smell of rubber was noticed in the aft cabin. The plane landed safely. Icelandair Plane Returns Massachusetts after Gear Problem

Icelandair flight FI-630 had to return and make an emergency landing at Boston Logan International Airport, Boston, Massachusetts, on May 16th. The Boeing 767-300, en-route to Keflavik, Iceland, had to return after the crew failed to retract its gear. The plane landed uneventfully. All 263 people onboard remained unharmed.
