Hainan Airlines Plane Returns to Boston due to Flaps Issue

Hainan Airlines flight HU-7962 had to return and make an emergency landing in Boston, Massachusetts, on April 14th.

The Boeing 787-900 plane took off for Shanghai, China, but had to turn back due to an issue with the flaps.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

Hainan Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in China

Hainan AirlinesHainan Airlines flight HU-7923 had to return and make an emergency landing in Changsa, China, on November 14th.

The Boeing 787-800 plane took off for Los Angeles, California, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew reported an issue with the slats.

The plane landed safely after burning off excess fuel. All passengers and crew members remained unhurt.

Hainan Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in China

Hainan AirlinesHainan Airlines flight HU-7755 had to return and make an emergency landing in Shenzhen, China, on May 12th.

The Boeing 737-800 plane took off for Zhengzhou, China, but had to return shortly afterwards after the left hand engine failed.

The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.

Hainan Airlines Plane Diverts to China due to Smoke Detector Indication

Hainan AirlinesA Hainan Airlines flight HU-498 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Harbin Taiping International Airport, Harbin, China, on November 8.

The Boeing 787-800 was en-route from Illinois, to Beijing, China, when the crew decided to divert to Harbin due to a smoke indication in passenger cabin.

The plane landed safely. The smoke indication later turned out to be false.

All passengers aboard remained unharmed.
