Kuopio-Bound Finnair Flight Suffers Lightning Strike

Finnair flight AY-507 suffered a lightning strike on the way to Kuopio, Finland, on July 18th. The incident happened when the Embraer ERJ-190 plane was flying from Helsinki, Finland. Finnair flight AY-427 had to return and make an emergency landing in Helsinki, Finland, on November 19th. The plane took off for Rovaniemi, Finland, but had to return shortly afterwards due to a lightning strike. The plane landed safely. All 166 people aboard remained unharmed. Finnair flight AY-165 had to return and make an emergency landing in Helsinki, Finland, on April 8th. The plane took off for to Saint Petersburg, Russia, but had to turn back after a lightning strike caused some electrical problems. The plane landed uneventfully. Everyone aboard remained safe.
