Fiji Airways Plane Returns to New Zealand due to Landing Gear Problem

Fiji Airways flight FJ-410 had to return and make an emergency landing at Auckland Airport, New Zealand, on June 15th. The Boeing 737-800, en-route to Nadi, Fiji, had to return after the crew failed to retract its landing gear. The plane landed safely. No injuries were reported. Download article as PDF »

A Fiji Airways Boeing 737-700 was en route from Auckland to Suva when an engine developed issues. Pilots returned to Auckland International Airport where they made a safe landing with emergency services including fourteen fire engines on standby. After landing, the plane was escorted by half a dozen fire engines. No fire was found... »
