Cebu Pacific Plane Veers Off Runway at Iloilo International Airport

Cebu Pacific flight 5J-461 veered off runway after landing at Iloilo International Airport, Philippines, on October 13th.

The incident happened when the Airbus A320-200 plane was coming from Manila, Philippines.

The plane came to stop with the nose gear collapsed.

All one hundred and eighty people aboard remained uninjured.

Cebu PacificCebu Pacific flight 5J-629 made a hard landing at Sibulan Airport/ Dumaguete Airport, Sibulan, Philippines, on April 26.

The Airbus A320-200, flying from Manila, Philippines, was mid-air when the crew noticed a hydraulic leak in one of its main gears. There were also found some leaves and branches in the gear.

The plane landed safely.

No one was injured.

Medical Emergency aboard Cebu Pacific Air

Why: A passenger who developed a blood pressure crisis was lucky a doctor was on board the fight. The passenger, 72-year-old Leonida Rosqueta had taken her Pretor 40 blood pressure medication before the flight. When she was unresponsive, on the doctor’s advice, the pilot diverted to Manili, where Leonida and her daughter Maribel Pascua disembarked and were transported to a hospital in Manila. The plane took off again for General Santos City after being on the ground in Manila for an hour.
