Cargolux Airlines flight CV-856 had to divert for an emergency landing in Vienna, Austria, on January 11th. The Boeing 747-800 plane flying from Luxembourg to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, was diverted after the captain began feeling unwell and subsequently became incapacitated. The plane landed safely. Cargolux flight CV-8674 made an emergency landing at Amsterdam Airport, Amsterdam, Netherlands, on December 17. The Boeing 747-400 was flying from Nairobi, Kenya, to London, England, when it received a smoke indication mid-air above Netherlands. The plane diverted and landed safely.
