Avianca Flight Diverts to Portugal due to Electrical Problems

Avianca flight AV-47 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Santa Maria Island, Portugal, on June 23rd. The Boeing 787-800 plane heading from Madrid, Spain, to Bogota, Colombia, was diverted due to electrical problems. The plane landed safely. All two hundred and fifty people aboard remained unharmed.
