An Allegiant Air flight had to make an emergency landing at Central Nebraska Regional Airport, Grand Island, Nebraska, at around 3:30 p.m. on October 20.
The Flight 8502 was on its way from North Platte to Sioux City, Iowa, when a warning signal indicated that equipment at the back of the aircraft was overheating.
The plane landed uneventfully and all 6 people aboard, including 2 pilots and 4 crew members, remained unharmed.
The aircraft was taken for inspection.
