Two French army training helicopters collided in mid-air between the towns of Cabasse and Carces in southern France, on February 2nd. According to the police, “The helicopters collided. A US military helicopter made an emergency landing in Tonaki, Okinawa, Japan, on January 23rd. The AH-1Z Viper helicopter was on a routine training flight when the crew noticed a warning indication light and decided to make an emergency landing. A helicopter crashed into a field in Troy Township, Wood County, Ohio, on January 15th. The incident happened when the helicopter was carrying two workers who were doing survey work for the utility company FirstEnergy. Both occupants of the aircraft were killed in the crash.
