American Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing at Dulles International Airport

American Airlines flight AA-5494 made an emergency landing at Dulles International Airport, Virginia, on January 14th.

The plane heading from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Virginia, to Saint Louis, Missouri, was diverted due to a gear disagree message.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

Scandinavian Airlines Plane Suffers Tail Strike in Alesund, Norway

Scandinavian Airlines flight SK-1323 suffered a tail strike at Alesund Vigra Airport, Norway, on January 13th.

The incident happened when the Boeing 737-800 plane was departing for Oslo, Norway. The crew continued the takeoff but subsequently diverted to Trondheim, Norway.

Jet2 Flight Makes Emergency Landing due to Disruptive Passengers

A Jet2 flight made an emergency landing at Santiago de Compostela Airport, Spain, on January 12th.

The plane heading from Tenerife, Spain, to Belfast International Airport, Northern Ireland, was diverted due to two unruly passengers.

The plane landed safely. The disruptive passengers were escorted out of the plane.

Emirates Plane Rejects Takeoff From Cairo

Emirates flight EK-928 rejected takeoff from Cairo, Egypt, on January 12th.

The Boeing 777-300 plane was accelerating to takeoff for Dubai, United Arab Emirates, when the crew spotted a vehicle on the runway and rejected takeoff at high speed.

Several tires deflated as a result.

All three hundred and sixty-four people aboard remained uninjured.
