Horizon Air Plane Returns to Portland due to Smell of Smoke

Horizon Air flight QX-2794 had to return and make an emergency landing in Portland, Oregon, on April 28th.

The plane took off for Albuquerque, New Mexico, but had to return shortly afterwards due to smell of smoke in the cabin.

The plane landed back safely. All passengers and crew members remained safe.

Small Plane Crashes in Forsyth County, Georgia; 1 Killed, 2 Injured

A small plane crashed in Forsyth County, Georgia, on April 28th.

The plane was carrying three people when it went down along Highway 369 near Browns Bridge Road and Waldrip Circle.

One person was killed in the crash. Two others were injured and were taken to a hospital.

PSA Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Norfolk

PSA Airlines flight OH-5701 made an emergency landing in Norfolk, Virginia, on April 27th.

The Canadair CRJ-700 plane flying from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was descending toward Norfolk when the crew received a nose gear steering indication and requested assistance on landing.

The plane landed safely and was towed to the apron. All sixty-nine people aboard remained safe.

Alaska Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Honolulu

Alaska Airlines flight AS-145 made an emergency landing in Honolulu, Hawaii, on April 27th.

The Boeing 737-800 plane was flying from Seattle, Washington, when the crew received indication of an engine oil filter bypass.

The plane continued for a safe landing. All one hundred sixty-five people aboard remained unharmed.
