Swiss International Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Johannesburg

Swiss International Airlines flight LX-289 had to return and make an emergency landing in Johannesburg, South Africa, on April 14th.

The Airbus A340-300 plane took off for Zurich, Switzerland, but had to turn back due to a hydraulic issue.

The plane landed safely. All two hundred and thirty-one people aboard remained unharmed.

Two Planes Collide in Midair in Germany; At Least 2 Dead

Two small planes collided in midair near Schwabisch Hall Airport, Germany, on April 15.

The incident happened when the planes coming from Stuttgart and Regensburg respectively were attempting to land at the airport.

At least two people were killed in the crash.

Myanmar National Airlines flight UB-313 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Dawei, Myanmar, on April 14th.

The plane heading from Yangon to Myeik, Myanmar, was diverted after the crew noticed an engine oil leak.

The plane landed safely. All sixty-nine passengers aboard remained unharmed.

Small Plane Crashes in Medina County, Texas; Pilot Killed

A small plane crashed in Medina County, Texas, on April 15th.

Authorities said the plane went down in a brushy area near the Bexar-Medina county line.

The pilot, who was the only one aboard, was killed in the crash.

The incident is being investigated.
