Air Canada Flight Rejects Takeoff From Zurich

Air Canada flight AC-879 had to reject takeoff from Zurich, Switzerland, on February 26th.

The Airbus A330-300 plane was accelerating to takeoff for Toronto, Canada, when the left-hand engine stalled, forcing the crew to reject takeoff.

The plane safely returned to the apron. All two hundred and sixty-eight passengers and eleven crew members remained unharmed.

Airbus Flight Makes Emergency Landing due to Smoke in Cockpit

Airbus Transport International flight BGA-143F made an emergency landing in Hamburg, Germany, on February 26th.

The plane flying from Chester Airport, England, was descending toward Hamburg when the crew noticed smoke in the cockpit and declared an emergency.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

Wizz Air Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Budapest

Wizz Air flight W6-4351 had to make an emergency landing in Budapest, Hungary, on February 26th.

The Airbus A321-200 plane heading from Sofia, Bulgaria, to Orio al Serio International Airport, Italy, was diverted after the crew received unreliable airspeed indication.

The plane landed safely. All two hundred and four people aboard remained unharmed.

SkyJet Airlines Plane Overruns Runway at Sayak Airport, Philippines

SkyJet Airlines flight M8-421 overran the end of the runway after landing at Sayak Airport, Philippines, on February 27th.

The incident happened when the plane was coming from Manila, Philippines.

The plane came to stop on soft ground.

No injuries were reported.

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) is investigating the incident.
