Flybe Flight Makes Emergency Landing at Belfast International Airport

Flybe flight BE-653 made an emergency landing at Belfast International Airport, Northern Ireland, on January 14th.

The plane heading from Birmingham, England, to Ireland West Airport Knock, Ireland, was diverted due to an issue with the flaps.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

Lufthansa Flight Rejects Takeoff From Munich

Lufthansa flight LH-2252 had to reject takeoff from Munich, Germany, on January 13th.

The plane was accelerating to takeoff for Lyon, France, when the crew rejected takeoff due to a blown tire.

The plane became disabled on the runway. No injuries were reported.

Pegasus Airlines Flight Veers Off Runway at Trabzon Airport, Turkey

Pegasus Airlines flight PC-8622 veered off a runway onto a seaside cliff after landing at Trabzon Airport, Turkey, on January 13th.

The incident happened when the Boeing 737-800 plane was coming from Ankara, Turkey.

The plane came to stop just short of the waters of the Black Sea.

There were one hundred and sixty-two passengers and six crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained safe.

Finnair Flight Returns to Latvia due to Technical Fault

Finnair flight AY-1072 had to return and make an emergency landing in Riga, Latvia, on January 12th.

The plane took off for Helsinki, Finland, but had to turn back due to a technical fault.

The plane landed back safely. All twenty-eight passengers and four crew members remained unharmed.
