Edelweiss Air Flight Returns to Zurich due to Engine Problem

Edelweiss Air flight WK-24 made an emergency landing in Zurich, Switzerland, on January 11th.

The Airbus A340-300 plane took off for Cancun, Mexico, but had to turn back due to an engine issue.

The plane landed uneventfully. All two hundred and eighty-six passengers and twelve crew members remained safe.

LOT Polish Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Warsaw

LOT Polish Airlines flight LO-3924 made an emergency landing in Warsaw, Poland, on January 10th.

The plane was flying from Krakow, Poland, when the crew reported an issue with the nose gear extension.

The nose gear collapsed as the plane touched down in Warsaw.

All fifty-nine passengers and four crew members remained unharmed.

Air Arabia Jordan Flight Returns to Khartoum due to Fire in Cabin

Air Arabia Jordan flight G9-666 had to return and make an emergency landing in Khartoum, Sudan, on January 9th.

The Airbus A320-200 plane took off for Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, but had to turn back after the crew noticed a fire in the cabin.

The plane landed safely. All one hundred and three people aboard remained unharmed.

Avianca Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Cuba

Avianca flight AV-9 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Havana, Cuba, on January 9th.

The Airbus A320-200 plane heading from Miami, Florida, to Bogota, Colombia, was diverted after the crew needed to shut down one of the engines.

The plane landed safely. All one hundred and fifty passengers and six crew members remained unharmed.
