Eurowings Flight Returns to Cologne due to Air Conditioning Problem

Eurowings flight EW-20 had to return and make an emergency landing at Cologne Bonn Airport, Germany, on November 20th.

The Airbus A319-100 plane took off for Berlin Tegel Airport, Germany, but had to return shortly afterwards due to an air conditioning problem.

The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

Budapest Air Service Plane Returns to Savonlinna, Finland, due to Landing Gear Issue

FlexFlight flight W2-5650, operated by Budapest Air Service, returned to Savonlinna, Finland, on November 21st.

The plane took off for Helsinki, Finland, but had to turn back after the crew failed to retract the landing gear.

The plane landed back uneventfully. All thirteen passengers aboard remained safe.

Lufthansa Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Chicago

Lufthansa flight LH-453 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Chicago, Illinois, on November 20th.

The Airbus A340-600 plane heading from Los Angeles, California, to Munich, Germany, was diverted after the crew noticed a temperature control problem in the cabin.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

Virgin Australia Plane Makes Hard Landing at Canberra Airport

Virgin Australia flight VA-646 made a hard landing at Canberra Airport, Australia, on November 19th.

The incident happened after the plane flying from Sydney, Australia, encountered wind shear.

Authorities said the aircraft’s tail skid and the fuselage contacted the runway.

No injuries were reported.

Australia’s TSB is investigating.
