IndiGo Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Chennai

IndiGo flight 6E-1707 had to return and make an emergency landing in Chennai, India, on November 16th. The Airbus A320-200 plane took off for Doha, Qatar, but had to turn back due to a bird strike. United Airlines flight UA-5387 made an emergency landing at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, Pennsylvania, on November 15th. The plane flying from Chicago, Illinois, was on final approach to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport when the crew received an unsafe gear indication and went around. Southwest Airlines flight WN-411 suffered a bird strike near Tampa International Airport, Florida, on November 15th. The incident happened shortly after the Boeing 737-800 plane departed Tampa International Airport for Buffalo, New York. The crew decided to continue the flight to Buffalo, where the plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.... »

Helicopter and Plane Collide Mid-Air in Buckinghamshire; Four Killed

A two-seater plane collided mid-air with a helicopter in Buckinghamshire, England, on November 17th. It is believed that both aircraft were flying from Wycombe Air Park when they collided near Waddesdon. Four people were killed in the crash.
