Edelweiss Air Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Zurich

Edelweiss Air flight WK-34 had to return and make an emergency landing in Zurich, Switzerland, on October 18th.

The Airbus A330-300 plane took off for Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, but had to turn back after the crew noticed issues with the landing gear.

The plane landed back safely. There were two hundred and fifty-seven passengers and eleven crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained safe.

KLM Cityhopper Flight Makes Emergency Landing due to Hydraulic Issue

KLM Cityhopper flight KL-1768 made an emergency landing in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on October 17th.

The plane flying from Frankfurt, Germany, was descending toward Amsterdam when the crew reported a hydraulic issue.

The plane landed safely. All fifty-six people aboard remained uninjured.

TAP Air Portugal Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Italy

TAP Air Portugal flight TP-843 had to return and make an emergency landing at Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport, Italy, on October 17th.

The Airbus A321-200 plane took off for Lisbon, Portugal, but had to turn back after the crew needed to shut down one of the engines.

The plane landed safely. All one hundred and seventy-one passengers and six crew members remained unharmed.

Scandinavian Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Stockholm

Scandinavian Airlines flight SK-128 made an emergency landing in Stockholm, Sweden, on October 17th.

The Boeing 737-800 plane flying from Malmo, Sweden, was on approach to Stockholm when the crew reported smell of smoke in the cockpit.

The plane continued for a safe landing. All one hundred and fifty-seven people aboard remained unharmed.
