Helicopter Crash in India Kills One; Two Injured

A helicopter lost its balance and crashed while taking-off from Himalayan shrine of Badrinath, Uttarakhand, India, on June 10th.

The accident happened due to insufficient air pressure.

A crew member lost his life while the two pilots sustained injuries in the crash. All five passengers remained safe.

The crash remains under investigation.

UTAir Flight Rejects Takeoff from Saint Petersburg, Russia

UTAir flight UT-360 had to reject takeoff from Saint Petersburg, Russia, on June 10th.

The Boeing 737-500 plane was accelerating to takeoff for Vnukovo International Airport, Russia, when the crew rejected takeoff due to an indication of a system failure.

The plane safely returned to the apron. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

Thomson Airways Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Manchester

Thomson Airways flight BY-147 made an emergency landing in Manchester, England, on June 9th.

The Boeing 787-800 plane flying from Orlando Sanford International Airport, Florida, was on approach to Manchester when the crew declared an emergency due to an engine failure.

The plane continued for a safe landing. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

Caracas-Bound Venezolana Airlines Plane Rejects Takeoff

Venezolana Airlines flight VNE-222 had to reject takeoff from Maracaibo, Venezuela, on June 9th.

The Boeing 737-200 plane was accelerating to takeoff for Caracas, Venezuela, when both nose tires burst, forcing the crew to rejected takeoff.

JetBlue Flight Makes Emergency Landing due to Strong Odor in Cabin

JetBlue flight B6-39 made an emergency landing in San Jose, Costa Rica, on June 7th.

The Airbus A320-200 plane flying from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was descending toward San Jose when the crew noticed a strong odor in the cabin and declared an emergency.

The plane continued for a safe landing.
