Cathay Dragon Flight Returns to Hong Kong due to Cargo Smoke Indication

Cathay Dragon flight KA-622 had to return for an emergency landing in Hong Kong, China, on March 28th.

The Airbus A330-300 plane took off for Hangzhou, China, but had to turn back due to an aft cargo smoke indication.

The plane landed back uneventfully. All 219 passengers aboard remained safe.

The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.

Lineas Aereas Suramericanas Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Bogota

A Lineas Aereas Suramericanas plane had to return and make an emergency landing in Bogota, Colombia, on March 28th.

The Boeing 727-200 plane took off for Leticia, Colombia, but had to return shortly afterwards due to a hydraulic failure.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

Bird-Hit ANA Plane Makes Safe Landing in San Jose

All Nippon Airways flight NH-172 made a safe landing following bird strikes near San Jose, California, on March 26th.

The Boeing 787-800 plane flying from Tokyo, Japan, was on final approach to San Jose when it received multiple bird strikes.

The plane continued for a safe landing. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

Air Transat Flight Makes Emergency Landing due to Loss of Cabin Pressure

Air Transat flight TS-103 made an emergency landing in Montreal, Canada, on March 26th.

The Boeing 737-800 plane flying from Orlando, Florida, was descending toward Montreal when it lost cabin pressure, prompting the deployment of oxygen masks.

The plane continued for a safe landing. There were 102 passengers and 6 crew members aboard at the time; 3 of them were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
