Air Canada Flight Returns to Montreal due to Engine Trouble


Air Canada flight AC017 had to return and make an emergency landing in Montreal, Canada, on March 25th.

The plane took off for Shanghai, China, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew needed to shut down one of the engines.

The plane landed back uneventfully. All 213 passengers aboard remained safe.

U.S. Air Force Boeing 707 Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Indonesia

A U.S. Air Force Boeing 707 plane had to make an emergency landing at Sultan Iskandar Muda International Airport, Indonesia, on March 24th.

Indonesian air force spokesperson Air Vice Marshall Jemi Trisonjaya said the plane declared an emergency after one of the engines failed.

The plane was transporting 20 American military personnel from a base in Diego Garcia to Kadena Air Base, Japan, at the time.

The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

Bird-Hit Air Arabia Flight Diverts to Lucknow, India

Air Arabia flight G9-532 made an emergency landing in Lucknow, India, on March 24th.

The Airbus A320-200 plane flying from Kathmandu, Nepal, to Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, was diverted due to a bird strike.

The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

British Airways Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Frankfurt

British Airways flight BA-73 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Frankfurt, Germany, on March 24th.

The Boeing 787-900 plane heading from Heathrow Airport, England, to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, was diverted due reports of fumes on-board.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
