Oman Air Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Bulgaria

Oman Air flight WY-123 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Sofia, Bulgaria, on March 4th. The Airbus A330-300 plane heading from Muscat, Oman, to Munich, Germany, was diverted after the crew noticed smell of smoke in the cabin. The plane landed safely. The plane was accelerating to take off for Fort Wayne, Indiana, when the crew rejected take off due to a maintenance issue. All passengers and crew members remained safe. The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.... »

Oman Air flight WY-245 encountered severe turbulence while heading to Delhi, India, on March 4th. The Boeing 737-800 plane was flying from Muscat, Oman, when it was hit by turbulence that injured several people. The plane continued for a safe landing. AeroLogic Airlines flight 3S-514 had to return and make an emergency landing in Leipzig, Germany, on March 4th. The Boeing 777-200 freighter plane took off for Dubai, United Arab Emirates, but had to return shortly afterwards due to a cargo smoke indication. The plane landed back safely.
