Bird-Hit Southwest Airlines Flight Returns to Los Angeles

Southwest Airlines flight WN-3356 had to make an emergency landing in Los Angeles, California, on January 8th.

The plane took off for San Francisco, California, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew reported a bird strike.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

KLM Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Atlanta

KLM flight KL-624 had to return and make an emergency landing in Atlanta, Georgia, on January 8th.

The plane took off for Amsterdam, Netherlands, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew detected a water leak into the avionics.

The plane landed back uneventfully. All 325 people aboard remained safe.

Air France Flight Returns to Charles de Gaulle Airport

Air France flight AF-378 had to return for an emergency landing at Charles de Gaulle Airport, France, on January 8th.

The Airbus A340-300 plane took off for Detroit, Michigan, but had to turn back due to a gear issue.

The plane landed safely after dumping excess fuel. All passengers and crew members remained safe.

Shaheen Air Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Lahore

Shaheen Air flight NL-902D made an emergency landing in Lahore, Pakistan, on January 8th.

The Airbus A330-200 plane flying from Manchester, England, was descending toward Lahore when the crew declared an emergency due to an engine fire indication.

The crew had activated the fire suppression system before the plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.
