South African Airways Flight Returns to John F. Kennedy International Airport

South African Airways flight SA-204 had to return and make an emergency landing at John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, on January 4th.

The Airbus A340-600 plane took off for Johannesburg, South Africa, but had to turn back due to an issue with flap retraction.

The plane landed uneventfully. Everyone aboard remained safe.

Small Plane Crashed at Capitol Airport; WI

A small plane crashed while taking off from Capitol Airport in Brookfield, Wisconsin, on January 4th.

The plane went down when the pilot, his wife, and their infant son were traveling to Virginia.

The pilot and his wife were injured in the crash. They were taken to Froedtert Hospital.

The baby remained unharmed but was also taken to Children’s Hospital as a precaution.

The NTSB and the FAA are investigating.

British Airways Plane Rejects Take Off From Malaga

British Airways flight BA-2713 had to reject take off from Malaga, Spain, on January 3rd.

The plane was accelerating to take off for Gatwick Airport, United Kingdom, when the crew rejected take off due to a safety warning.

The plane safely returned to the apron. All passengers and crew members remained safe.

United Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in San Francisco

United Airlines flight UA-892 made an emergency landing in San Francisco, California, on January 3rd.

The Boeing 747-400 plane was flying from Seoul, South Korea, when the crew entered a hold, reporting a loose flap track fairing cover.

The plane continued for a safe landing. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
