NordStar Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Moscow

NordStarNordStar Airlines flight Y7-7750 made an emergency landing in Domodedovo, Moscow, Russia, on October 9th.

The plane flying from Heraklion, Greece, was on approach to Domodedovo when the crew reported an unsafe gear indication.

The crew went around and managed to lower and lock the gear before safely landing in Domodedovo.

Everyone aboard remained safe.

Air New Zealand Plane Returns to Ho Chi Minh City after Turbulence Injured 4

Air New ZealandAir New Zealand flight NZ-268 had to return and make an emergency landing in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on October 9th.

The Boeing 767-300 plane took off for Auckland, New Zealand, but had to turn back after it experienced severe turbulence that injured 4 people.

The plane landed uneventfully. The injured, including 3 crew members and 1 passenger, were taken to hospital.

Bird-Hit Alitalia Airlines Flight Lands Safely in Palermo, Italy

AlitaliaAlitalia Airlines flight AZ-1763 was hit by a flock of birds after taking off from Linate Airport in Milan, Italy, on October 6th.

The plane had departed for Palermo, Italy, when the crew reported a bird strike.

After confirming that all instruments were showing normal values, the crew decided to continue the flight toward Palermo.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

Germanwings Flight Diverts to Belgrade due to Faulty Fan

The Airbus A319-100 plane heading from Rhodes, Greece, to Cologne, Germany, was diverted due to a faulty fan.

The plane landed safely. There were 144 people aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.
