PSA Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing due to Smoke in Cabin

PSA AirlinesPSA Airlines flight AA-5446 had to make an emergency landing in Albany, New York, on August 10th.

The plane flying from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Virginia, was on final approach when the crew declared an emergency due to smoke in the cabin.

The plane landed uneventfully. Everyone aboard remained safe.

Ellinair Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Russia

EllinairEllinair flight EL-920 made an emergency landing in Novosibirsk, Russia, on August 9th.

The plane was flying from Thessaloniki, Greece, when the captain became unwell and later on fell unconscious. The first officer took control and landed safely.

The captain was shifted to hospital where the doctors diagnosed a brain haemorrhage.

British Airways Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Amsterdam

British airwaysBritish Airways flight BA-782 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on August 9th.

The Airbus A320-200 plane heading from London, United Kingdom, to Stockholm, Sweden, was diverted after the crew reported a problem with the Air Data and Inertial Reference Units (ADIRUs).

The plane landed safely. All 127 passengers and 6 crew members remained unhurt.

Delta Airlines Plane Diverts to Colorado due to Hail Strike

250px-Delta_logo.svgDelta Airlines flight DL-1889 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Denver International Airport, Denver, Colorado, on August 7th.

The Airbus A320-200 en-route from Boston, Massachusetts, to Salt Lake City, Utah, was mid-air when it encountered severe turbulence due to hail and lightning.

The plane received damage to its radome, windshields and engines.

All 119 passengers and 5 crew members onboard remained unhurt.
