Ameriflight Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Sint Maarten

AmeriflightAmeriflight flight A8-6907 made an emergency landing in Sint Maarten, on August 5th.

The plane flying from San Juan, Puerto Rico, declared an emergency after the nose gear failed to deploy.

The plane landed safely with the nose gear up.

No injuries were reported.

Shenzhen Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing due to Fire Indication

Shenzhen AirlinesShenzhen Airlines flight ZH-9638 had to return and make an emergency landing in Shenyang, China, on August 5th.

The plane took off for Zhengzhou, China, but had to return shortly afterwards due to a fire indication.

The plane landed uneventfully. Everyone aboard remained safe.

Nose Gear on Southwest Airlines Plane Collapses at Baltimore Airport

southwest_airlines_logoSouthwest Airlines flight WN-149 had to face a delay after the aircraft’s nose gear collapsed at Baltimore–Washington International Airport, Maryland, on August 4th.

The Boeing 737-300 plane was being pushed back when its nose gear collapsed.

All 126 passengers and 5 crew members disembarked safely.

The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.

Light Aircraft Crashes in South West England; 3 Injured

A light aircraft crashed near a farm on Wyke Oliver Road, Weymouth, Dorset, South West England, on the noon of August 5th.

According to sources, the plane was carrying 2 adults and a child at the time.

All 3 people onboard sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash.

The injured were taken to hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
