Peruvian Airlines Plane Returns to Peru due to Weather Radar Failure

Peruvian airlinesPeruvian Airlines flight P9-234 had to return and make an emergency landing at Rodríguez Ballón International Airport, Peru, on July 1st.

The Boeing 737-500, en-route to Lima, Peru, had to return due to failure of weather radar.

The plane landed safely.

No one was injured.

Blue Air Plane Returns to Romania after Abnormal Landing Gear Indication

blue airBlue Air flight 0B-9361 returned and made a safe emergency landing at Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport, Otopeni, Romania, on July 2nd.

The Boeing 737-800, en-route to Antalya, Turkey, was climbing out of Bucharest when the crew reported an abnormal landing gear indication, prompting the plane to return.

The plane landed safely. All people onboard remained unharmed.

The passengers were accommodated in a replacement plane.

Ryanair Plane Rejects Takeoff in Cyprus after Bird Strike

RyanairRyanair flight FR-5086 had to reject takeoff at Paphos International Airport, Paphos, Cyprus, on July 3rd.

The Boeing 737-800 was accelerating to takeoff for Krakow, Poland, when one of its engines ingested a bird.

The plane taxied to the apron safely.

Southwest Airlines Plane Returns to California due to Engine Problem

The Boeing 737-300 had taken off for Austin, Texas, when the crew decided to return after reporting an engine problem.
