Azerbaijan Airlines Plane makes Safe Landing in Iran after Unsafe Gear Indication

Azerbaijan AirlinesAzerbaijan Airlines flight J2-8005 made a safe emergency landing at Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport, Iran, on June 26th.

The Airbus A319-100, flying from Baku, Azerbaijan, was about to reach its destination when the crew noticed an unsafe gear indication.

The plane landed safely.

No one was injured.

Turkish Airlines Plane Returns to Istanbul due to Engine Failure

Turkish airlinesTurkish Airlines flight TK-6507 had to return and make an emergency landing in Istanbul, Turkey, on June 24th.

The plane took off for Kuwait City, Kuwait, but had to return shortly afterwards due to engine failure.

The plane landed safely. No injuries were reported.

It is believed that the engine failed due to a bird strike.

Emirates Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Dubai

EmiratesEmirates flight EK-22 made an emergency landing in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on June 25th.

The Boeing 777-300 plane, flying from Manchester, England, declared emergency after the crew reported that pilot vision was impaired.

The plane landed uneventfully. Everyone aboard remained safe.

Two Killed after Helicopter Crashed in Arizona

A helicopter crashed and caught fire in Wikieup, Arizona, on June 25th.

The Robinson R66 helicopter took off from Prescott, Arizona, and was heading to Riverside, California, when it went down.

There were two people aboard at the time; both of them were killed in the crash.

The cause of crash is being investigated.
