Cessna Airplane Crashed Near Searcy Municipal Airport, Arkansas

russiancessnacrashA single engine Cessna airplane crashed in White County, around two miles towards south of the Searcy Municipal Airport.

According to the chief deputy for the White County sheriff’s office, Phillip Miller, the accident was reported to 911 at about 2:50pm on Friday. The emergency teams rushed to scene where they found an overturned Cessna plane in a field.

There were two persons on board and the authorities confirmed that both of them escaped with only minor injuries.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating the cause of accident

Should Lithium Battery Transport be banned on Passenger jets?

The conversation about forbidding the transport of lithium metal batteries as cargo on passenger aircraft is based on fire risk these batteries present.
